The Great Dig Day

It's Dinosaur week, one of our favorites! The children will be turning salt dough into dinosaur eggs and then completing a dino dig in the sandbox during outside time.

Smoothie Day

Join us as we kick off the summer here at KCC with smoothie day! Teachers will be blending up healthy fruit smoothies for all the children to welcome the warm months of summer.

Staff Development Day: KCC Closed

Please take note that we will be closed for our triannual Staff Development Day. This is a day dedicated for teachers to participate in several training sessions to enhance their knowledge of the most up-to-date information in early childhood education.

Flying Saucer Day

This week, we will be talking about space. The children will be getting creative and making their own flying saucer!

Splash Day

It's our first Splash Day of the summer! Please bring your child to school in their swimwear under their regular clothes. Group Egg Drop Day

It’s time for a fun group competition! As a class project, each group will brainstorm and create an egg shuttle big enough to hold two eggs. Take-off will be on Thursday, June 16th!

Father’s Day

Hamburgers and hotdogs with all the fixings or just how you like 'em (veggie options included). We'll be celebrating all the men in your child's life during one of our most popular events of the year!

Juneteenth Observance – KCC CLOSED

Juneteenth (6/19) is a day when we celebrate the Emancipation Proclamation and the freedom of enslaved people in America at the end of the civil war. KCC will be closed on Monday, June 20th in observance of Juneteenth.

Fiesta Day

Come to school in your favorite fiesta outfit and we'll hit a piñata on the playground. ¡Olé!

Pirate Day

Dress up like a Pirate and we'll go on a treasure hunt! Please have your child at school by 9 AM for this fun event. Check with your child's teacher for the treasure hunt schedule.

Luau Day

Aloha! Come to school in your favorite luau outfit and/or hula skirt and get ready to dance to hula music!
