A Day in the Life at Kids Care Club’s Toddler Program

Morning Arrival and Welcome

7:00 – 8:00 am

The day begins with a warm welcome as toddlers arrive. This time is essential for transitioning from home to the school environment. Our caregivers greet each child and parent, fostering a sense of belonging and comfort.

Circle Time: Engaging and Learning Together

8:15 – 8:35 am

Circle time is a highlight of the morning, where toddlers gather for a group session. This time includes songs, simple games, and interactive storytelling. It’s an opportunity for children to develop listening skills, learn to take turns, and start understanding simple routines.

Exploration and Play

8:35 – 9:00 am

Play is at the heart of our program. Toddlers engage in free play, where they can choose from various activities such as building blocks, pretend play, and sensory bins. This unstructured time encourages creativity, exploration, and social interaction.

Snack Time: Nourishment and Social Skills

9:00 – 9:30 am

Snack time is not just about eating; it’s a social event. Children learn table manners, practice self-feeding, and engage in conversations with peers and teachers. This time fosters independence and social skills.

Outdoor Play: Physical Activity and Exploration

9:30 – 10:30 am

Outdoor play is a crucial part of our daily schedule. Toddlers enjoy time in our safe play areas, where they can run, climb, and explore. This time is vital for physical development, coordination, and outdoor appreciation.

Themed Activities: Learning Through Fun

10:30 – 11:30 am

Each day includes themed activities designed to teach new concepts in a fun and engaging way. These may include arts and crafts, simple science experiments, or music and movement activities designed to stimulate cognitive development and fine motor skills.

Rest Time: Relaxation and Recharge

12:45 – 2:45 pm

After a busy morning, toddlers have a rest time. This period is essential for their well-being, providing a quiet time to relax and recharge for the afternoon activities.

Afternoon Activities: Continued Learning and Play

2:45 – 5:00 pm

The afternoon brings more opportunities for learning and play. Activities often continue the morning’s theme, allowing toddlers to delve deeper into the day’s learning topics.

End of Day Routine: Reflection and Goodbyes

5:15 – 5:30 pm

As the day winds down, we have a closing circle time where children can reflect on the day’s activities, share their experiences, and say goodbye to their friends and teachers. This routine helps toddlers understand the concept of time and prepares them for the transition back home.
